Just looked this Blaydes guy up. 5-0 with 5 KO/TKOs. Also a giant. Pretty solid for a late replacement! Definitely excited for this one.
 
I worked out a few times with Blaydes when he was still an amateur. I think there's a YouTube of one of his Ammy fights where he takes on a 300lbs + guy and just totally slams him like a "Rock Bottom" but in real life. He was a beast.

Well... young, huge, undefeated heavyweight with a college wrestling background...

Of the recent hw signings he has got the most potential I think. On paper, besides makhov, of course.

Ok I looked this guy up on youtube.. in 2 of his fights he keeps hitting dudes in the back of the head. Like shot after shot. Someone teach him you're not supposed to do that in unified rules.

He's gonna get DQ'd in his debut lol.
 
Sounds like a 1980's action hero.
 
I like Francis, his UFC debut was awesome, but Blaydes is probably going to be able to wrestle his face off.

I'm betting these two guys are part of the reason the UFC didn't care that Meathead left for Bellator...
 
Awesome signing of Blaydes. I missed this news last week; I hope it doesnt get placed on fightpass.
