Some of us here probably keep a good eye on stadium fighters in lower weight classes because there are always big fights, but what about 70 kg?

In terms of "who-beat-who" and not some random world titles of course... Name your top 5, top 10, or top 20

no one fights in the weight class often enough for there to be rankings based on who beat who and the top guys have never fought each other at 70kg either as no one stays at the weight very long in muaythai.

150+ is mostly an afterthought. It's hard to say who the best are when promoters don't really bother with it. Por Tortor Petrungruang won the last Isuzu tournament and is a quality fighter. I don't know.

Thais mostly dont care about the division, but it does exist and while it is a total bitch to follow, I have been following it fairly closely for the past 2 years and my top 5 70kg nak muays at the stadiums would be:

1. Yusef
2. Denpanom
3. Yodpayak
4. Srimongkol
5. Eakchanachai

This isnt counting guys who fight outside the stadiums like Yodsanklai, Sittichai, Superbon and Toby Smith, all of whom who probably do very well against the stadium guys.

Sirimongkal is the only one of those guys to have fought at 154 in the last year or 2. Everyone else with the exception of denpamon has not fought below 160 in years

Yodpayak and Srimongkol have definitely fought at 154 this year, and I'm pretty sure Denpanom has too. Eakchanachai and Yusef typically fight at 160 but they don't look any bigger than the 154 guys. Most guys at 154-160 could probably make 147 anyways, so I tend to just think of them as one group.

If your going to lump them all together why not guys like yodvicha who fights abroad at 70 kg and has fought sirimonkal in north Thailand at 154. You could also include just about anyone who fights above 135 as that is their walk around weight.
I did forget yodpayak did come down to 154 when he joined sitsongpeenong and fought sirimongkal twice this last year

If your talking by rankings then not sure but if your talking based on who I think are some of the best at 154-160 then in no order:
Yodwicha
Sittichai
Superbon
Yodsanklai
Thongchai
Toby Smith
Would love to see them all face each other FTR

Thongchai last weighed in at 78 kg...and did not fight for a year, not sure why you put him here.

I didnt include 135-140 lbs guys who could compete at 154 because I'm pretty sure Kanka knows that scene pretty well and didn't have them in mind when he asked about 70kg guys, but ya I'm sure guys like Yodwicha and Manasak would make some noise at 70 kg.
