He's been training boxing since he was a little kid. Trained with the Mayweathers. Taught classes. Been around the boxing scene for a long time, before he even got into MMA.

I've seen him shadowbox, spar, etc. He's got some hands. It's said that he used to get the better of both Tito and Chuck when they sparred.

Obviously he's old as fuck now, but he'd still likely take him out.
 
Punk is so unathletic and cringy that it baffles me how popular he was in the WWE. At least guys like Stone Cold and The Rock were athletes.

I'm not that buying that at all. He has zero boxing credentials and there is no fucking way he got the better of Chuck or Tito, absolute bollocks. Might still beat Punk but do not believe anything Dana says about his own abilities as a fighter.

Dana WAS a boxer and CM through the greatest UFC whiff of all time.

I dunno about chuck, that was just the rumour back In the day. Don't necessarily doubt It though. From a technical standpoint, Dana's boxing was much better than Chuck's. Much much better, but who knows.

Tito for sure though.

It has nothing to do with believing anything. I seen the bad blood documentary a decade ago, still on fight pass I believe. You can see him shadow box, hit pads, hit the heavy bag, move around, throw jabs yourself. He had hands

Don't doubt for a second that he used to decimate Tito in sparring. Tito never had boxing and still doesn't.

Though, for people who haven't seen the bad blood documentary and have no frame of reference for his skillset..I can understand the skepticism I suppose.

But he was aight. Was sparring actual ranked HW pro boxers leading up to the Tito fight back In the day.
 
Dana is morphing into Bowser from Mario. Punk would break his hands trying to punch Dana when he pokes his head out of the shell and bolts back in before punk can get a shot off. I've never punched a 6 foot 200 pound turtle but I'm guessing it would hurt.
 
No. That's why he didn't want to be the ultimate fighter. He ran it instead.
