I am beginning weightlifting for the first time on a regular basis. After reading these forums, it was easy to decide on using Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength. Here's to not being weak. Go Euts! Squats 4 Warm up sets 1 x 5 x 155 (It was too much weight, I really strained my back getting the last 2 up) 2 x 5 x 135 Bench 3 Warm up sets 3 x 5 x 105 Deadlift 2 Warm up sets 1 x 5 x 135 I stretched afterwords and my legs feel good. I've had problems in the past with really sore legs for 3-5 days after squatting.
