Just to add, contrary to what the gay community wants everyone to believe via propaganda (because they don't want to be looked down on and seen/blamed as the sole reason for the disease, I guess), female to male HIV contraction is extremely rare and unlikely, even if the female is infected it would take some serious measures for a man to recieve the virus through normal heterosexual sex. Other STDs like herpes etc. can be much easier contracted to a much higher degree. Women are at higher risk if they sleep with an infected male especially via anal sex due to the sensitivity of the walls of the anus can which easily break/bleed etc.

In this fighter's case, most likely drug/steroid needle sharing with an infected person or a secret homosexual (recieving anal sex) lifestyle IMO.

In big cities, no one hassles gays. It might be different in the countryside, but they're fine in any significant Russian city. The populace isn't particularly fond of large Gay Pride parades, or children being taught about homosexuality, but that's an entirely separate issue.
