Yo yo F12, I'll be back down in FL in two weeks and I'm doing a seminar at Ybor City Jiu-Jitsu Club on Sat, July 9 at 12:30pm. It's $40 for 2 hours (or longer if they let me run over). We will be doing the crucifix and combos off back attacks.

For those that don't know me, I'm a first degree BJJ black belt from Gracie Barra Clearwater and I've run a BJJ blog www.aesopian.com for over a decade. Maybe I can get some Sherdoggers to endorse me below so I'm not just humblebragging about myself. I'll say I have a reputation for being a very technical grappler, a very good teacher, and at one point I think F12 had a sticky post dedicated to my threads.

Q: Is it worth coming if I'm a noob white belt?
A: Yes, you will get a lot out of it! I have taught this material to many beginners and they catch on just fine. Just recently while in Chicago, a brand new guy happened to come to one of the classes I taught at the host gym, and also came to the crucifix seminar. He grabbed me after the seminar to tell me how happy and surprised he was that he could follow along with no problems. I will make sure you learn something worth your time and money.
Q: Is it gi or no-gi?
A: I will be wearing a gi but you are welcome to wear whatever you like to train in. Nothing will be dependent on gi grips, including the chokes. You will be able to use everything shown whether you do gi or no-gi.
Q: Can I come if I train at a different school?
A: Yes, of course! Everyone from any school, affiliation or other martial art style is welcome to attend.
