Is that 2 on 1 something unique that his team game planned or is it common in wrestling?

To me it seems like it was more a case of Usman not having the body to play the explosive wrestling game anymore.

Usman is done. We’ve seen this time and time again with aging champs.

His wrestling looked worse than ever.
Leon was hit and miss with his TDD and scrambling. Sometimes he looked great, other times I was scratching my head at his decision making.

Usman is a shell of his former self. You just don't come back from a devastating head kick KO, right away in your next fight LOL. Usman's brain was totally reset. He should've taken longer off.

leon looked and seeme physically stronger than usman as well in this fight.

Usman landed some great takedowns early on. I don’t have gifs of them or anything, but I recall a sweet double leg and a great single leg in the first two rounds. He wasn’t able to keep Leon down as he got back up quickly, but Usman did seem to slow down later on in the fight.

He chewed Usman up bad with those inside leg kicks. Wrestling is not that easy when your leg is dead from kicks.

Usman winced on one leg kick in the 2nd round and didn't seem the same after it.

Leon did work on the body and legs/knees.

Give the dude credit for investing in that early in the fight.
Sounds like the big book of excuses is already being written.
Pretty much this.

Leon has also clearly invested time in training in getting up as soon as he is taken down. The plethora of different ways and the ease on which he was able to get back to his feet tonight was pretty special.

Usman was struggling to get takedowns as it was, but even when he did after investing heavily, Leon was able to just spring back up.

He was able to do so in the last fight as well, but not as successfully I'm assuming due to the cardio and elevation.

At least Usmans shit talking was on point this time.

The snatch single leg that sent Leon tumbling was amazing

People forget Edwards first win was one that was very hard for Usman to get over. Many people saying Usman is past it were saying Edwards was a gimme 6 months ago. Edwards took Usman's soul, he was very tentative in the first fight but like I said previously.... we will see a far more confident Edwards this time around.

Usman dominated him last time, Edwards nearly quit on the stool. He looked bad this time. It's most likely he isn't the same after the brutal knockout.

Those knees are cooked. He wasn't getting any drive out of them.
