Fights happen to substantiate who is actually a better fighter in reality, not by some metric an analyst created. Clearly based on the reality of the fight, Fedor is the better fighter.

If that's true then Tank Abbott is a better fighter than Mighty Mouse and Jose Aldo. Sorry, that's just ridiculous.

the rules of the sport put cro cop and fedor in the same category for competition (weight class). fedor was better under the rules of the sport.

It's either come 2 days before the fight and sleep during the day, postprone adaptation and you can keep freshness for 2 days, or come 2-3 weeks before the fight and endure the slow adaptation of your body, start adjusting to day/night cycles of different time zone, star catching up with it, and leave few days extra at the end to rise the form.
Everything in between is not good and will cost you.
At least a day or more per time zone crossed is needed, and it is more difficult to travel to the east, than to the west.
At level that high, a detail like that can greatly influence the outcome. Every detail counts.

It is entirely Mirko's falut and of his team, that they changed the usual routine for the biggest fight, and it goes to his expense. But it points that he could have done better in rematch and that he did not give the best of him.

At the end of the day, Cro Cop earned another shot vs Fedor, but he did not get it due to higher force and unforseen circumstances.

Tank Abbott never fought Mighty Mouse and Jose Aldo. Cro Cop asked for, agreed to and got to fight Fedor.

Fedor was the only one with the balls and skills to walk Cro Cop down. Mirko was used to everyone backing away from him out of intimidation, which ironically played right into his hands (or shins).

yeah, except this is horseshit. i personally haven't been to japan, but two close friends of mine went there and absolutely did not need 2-3 weeks to adapt to the jet lag, lol. and we live about 200km away from mirko, so it's not like his route was any different.

jet lag is real, and it will absolutely fuck with your athletic performance. like you said, every detail counts, i wholeheartedly agree. but they've made the trip before, thousands of people from their region make the trip every year, and no one needs 3 weeks to adapt once they get there. it's a rough couple of days, and that's it.

Fedor had broken hands? Well Cro Cop had a broken foot and a broken rib.

"Despite all this, mirko still could not beat Fedor with 2 broken hands."

Nobody is saying that Cro Cop won the MMA contest, you're just trying to make it sound like Fedor actually hurt Cro Cop on the feet, so I had to slap you down.

Cro Cop reminded Fedor who the real striker is, and Fedor hugged cro cop for the rest of the fight.

Then there is nothing to argue about is there?
Fedor showed Mirko who the better grapper was,and Mirko should have not cowardly only tried to strike the whole time like some k-1 bitch boy,and engage Fedor in the manly art of the pankration.

Let's go back to the start of our conversation:

Your sig said: Fedor's trainer: "Fedor, you had CroCop out, you should've finished. You had him rocked and you let him go three times."

I'm saying that's complete bullshit. Fedor never had Cro Cop hurt. Not once in the entire fight.

Fedor was the only one who was ever hurt in that fight, which is why he hugged Cro Cop for the rest of the fight, after the moment shown in this GIF. That's my point and you have nothing to say to that.

And you can call Cro cop a bitch boy from behind the computer screen, but we both know you would never have the balls to say it to his face.

Fedor/Mirko grappling wise is a bit like DC/Anderson, I mean Fedor was more active than DC and did land a good amount of GnP but the guy on the bottom was almost entirely focused on defending.

Standing as well Fedor did land some good shots on Mirko as the fight progressed, he just didnt push for the finish.

The weight difference was half that, and that was all fat. Crocop could have easily gained 8 lbs of fat to even if out if you really think that was the difference in the fight. Fedor was a better faster, he was quicker than Crocop, far better grappler, and he fought at a faster pace while pressing forward. None of these things were because Fedor was bigger, they were because Fedor was better.

Fedor was ready and displayed some of the most insane reflexes at HW ever. That shin, arm defense was amazing. Defending both the middle and high kick. And that huge slap sound of Mirko's body kick in the first round was frightenning.

    Biggest HW clash ever.
