After their incident in the ring (have no idea why, just saw the gif image), I assume this is Cro Cop's next fight?

Cro Cop nearly removed Fujita from the ring with that shove.. Put him on his ass lol! Crocops team was handling things pretty well after that too..

At this stage in Cro Cops career I'd be totally fine with him sticking around in Japan and taking fights like this.. I don't think he can hang with the top guys anymore.

Isn't Fujita pro wrestling for Inoki now? Might try to set up a wrestling match

I just have a difficult time believing the IGF "mma" matches aren't works.

That call out was a little out of the blue. It'd likely be another easy win for Cro Cop, but considering they've fought, it doesn't make a lot of sense.

fujita`s head is absolutely huge, cc`s head looked like a child`s head compared to his. That was the most interesting thing about that event for me.

That's my feeling. I just don't trust IGF or any fight in Japan these days. The whole thing screamed pro-wrestling angle. Even the left high kick finish looked questionable.

I have no doubt it landed but it almost looked like Ishii bladed and threw the fight after.

We know for a fact that fighters have been paid off in Japan to take a dive without the winners knowing.

I'd assume that was the setup they were aiming for. Wanderlei and Fedor were there too, weren't they? I thought it was interesting that Fujita's in the ring with three men who beat him.

    Yep.

Also, I'm not saying it's a work (whether full work or a dive), I'm just saying I'm very, very leery about it. Ugh.

The Mirko-Satoshi fight was 100% real, no doubt about it.

However the post fight circus is indeed probably just a work. Fujita has done pro wrestling, and even Mirko appeared at a pro wrestling match few years ago.
To me, it was just to entertain the fans.

However to say that the MMA fight was fake and Ishii bladed himself is absolutely ridiculous.
I know that there have been some fights in Japan that looked like a work, however most of the fights are absolutely real, and this one was real.

  14. There are many ways to take a div in a MMA fight. Eating a LHK from Crocop and having your head split open isn't probably the most popular way to take a div. A knee to the body that 'hits the liver' or even a freak submission off his back, ANYTHING else besides a LHK. For those saying it barely grazed him, the one that KO'd Wanderlei landed similiar and that put him out cold.

    Definitely not a work.

CC - Ishii was not fake.

I hope CC - Fujita is going to be an openly worked match, though.

A staged pro wrestling style altercation, followed by a ridiculous mismatch that should never be sanctioned is not something I want to see.

I don't believe the fight was thrown.. I think it was legit.. Just like my buddy always telling me that Alberto Del Rio threw his fight with CC because ADR wore a mask..? Ok now Japan can be preeeettyy silly but that kick landed.. hard

But like you guys have said.. The Fujita antics afterwards screams worked to me.

Under no circumstances should Fujita ever be in a legitimate match again.

Definitely legit. If I were taking a dive, the last thing I'd want is to do it by getting clipped by a LHK from Mirko, causing my head to bust open and spill blood everywhere.

Is "sanctioned" a word in Japan?

    And that's if you're lucky.
