Cris Cyborg not surprised about not getting rematch with Amanda Nunes

All defended their belts several times (most in their own division historically) and still can't get a rematch
 
Tough to do an immediate rematch when this was the outcome of the first fight......

Yeah, that tends to happen when you last less than a minute.
 
Cyborg got completely outclassed in the standup, she should win another fight first before a rematch. Can't have a rematch for every champ that loses

In this particular case the division is really really thin...its basically a rematch if they make a fight at 145 , there are no real contenders there.

They might just cut the division. Nunes doesn't plan on fighting at 145 again so... Either Cyborg gets her belt back or they scrap the division.

Pretty much the story of womens mma. Two maybe three good fighters in each weight class and the rest are cans who can not knock each other out or submit each other. (Is it obvious I am not a fan of WMMA?)
 
good, im fucking sick and tired of these constant rematches... Before it used to be some split decision or a DQ because of a bad cut that you would get a rematch for, now its like oh you got put to sleep? Its ok rematch, oh you got knocked the fuck out? its ok rematch... Like we dont want to see this shit... you got fucking finished you dont get a rematch, you gotta work your way back up.. This should apply to everyone and not just cyborg though.

She joins the club with Aldo of champs who got knocked out in under a minute.
Aldo deserved a rematch for beating Edgar, he didn’t deserve it immediately. If Cyborg wants a rematch she should take another fight vs a top
contender at 145(Anderson is available or Zingano who beat Nunes). I always say if you get knocked out in under a minute or beat up in a one sided fight you don’t deserve anything.

Yup, that works too, they seem a bit not invested into Cyborg anymore, wouldnt be surprised if they fold the division and send "everyone" back to invicta or cut.
 
You need necktats or a Gollum-like face to get instant rematches after being knocked out
 
She got picked apart

Its honestly one of the craziest fights ive seen.

She got wrecked every exchange
 
She shouldn't be surprised, she got wrecked. There was nothing in that fight that suggests she deserves a rematch.
 
Amanda will leave the division and there will be a match to determine the 145 champ of which cyborg, by default, will be a part of. she won't be getting a rematch Nunes but she will probably get her title back based on lack of depth in wmma.
