Yep...3 triples. The maximum amount of marks you can get in one turn.
Not sure. ..sounds like 3 triples though.
Not a cricketing term.
In darts, a nine-darter is taking out the starting score of 501 in only 9 darts.......the lowest amount possible.
This. '9 marks' is nothing to do with cricket.
Mark
Any throw that registers on a number either to help close the number or score points in Cricket. The Single segment portion of the Cricket number scores one (1) mark. The Double segment scores two (2) marks, while the Triple segment scores three (3) marks. The outer portion of the Bull’s Eye scores one (1) mark and the inner section scores two (2) marks.
Nope.
9 is the most you can get, given you have 3 darts. But 8 marks including a double bullseye is actually a better round (there's no way to triple bullseye with one dart)
I've just googled this shit and prior to today I've never heard the term 'cricket' in regards to a darts game. Presumably why people are getting confused.

Interesting. Not sure where you're from, but at least on the west coast it's probably the most popular Dart game.
Anyway, @Flemmy Stardust was correct. The confusion was probably that I said cricket as when it turns out that 9 marks (or 3 triples) is a term that can be used across various games.
I'm from the UK where there's really only one version of darts and it's just called darts. I've seen some people play 'round the clock' type of stuff in the pub before but never anything like 'cricket'.
