I like Herb, a few years back the general consensus was that he was the best ref in MMA, he's made some fuck ups here and there but he is still one of the best refs tbh.

It's a very tough job, and I try not to ridicule the reffing. I think they get it right way more often, than they get it wrong.

God bless Herb Dean. I was so nervous he was gonna stop it against Shogun and especially against Lombard as Hendo was out on his feet several times- but Herb knew it aint over til its over,

This gave us some legendary Hendo KO's. Lombard/Hendo reffing is up there with Mirgliotta in Kongo/Barry. The Mousasi stoppage looks even more early now in retrospect as Hendo has shown time and time again that he always comes back unless your Vitor or Anderson
