Crazy Beliefs

Got an old high-school friend that I indulge in Facebook discussions about some ridiculous stuff. The latest bout of ignorance was him posting a video of a breed of pig called Mangalica that has curly, woolly hair. He swears it's a pig/sheep hybrid. I try to explain that it's just selective breeding, nothing special. Dude then calls me NAIVE for believing in hearsay and says he's speaking FACTS. I play nice, and ask him what these facts are? He just tells me to look up how cows, chickens and pigs are all gene-spliced hybrid animals.
 
Asked a guy to come give me an estimate on some painting work. He came on a Saturday morning at like 7:30, hours before our scheduled appointment. My wife is asleep in the next room and he starts talking about having killed a man in a bar fight, gone to prison, found god while locked up, and now is starting his life over. Wanted to know if I, too, was "a believer."

I did the painting myself.

Lol I just remembered this but the same guy also doesn't believe in ejaculating. He first got into the no-fap movement but then took it a step further. He believes you lose nutrients when you bust a nut so he tries not to nut when he bangs his girlfriend. Crazy

My in house sitter has those. I try so hard not to stare, but she wears crazy shirts that make her glorious breast the only thing I see. She is 13 years younger than myself and soooo damn hot. Pixie cute, radiant smile, dancing eyes, infectious laugh, dimples above dat perfect ass.

I don't want to lose a good sitter though. But yeah, I’ve known Wiccans, Reiki practitioners, New Age followers, the whole gamut. I was quite into all of that stuff when I was in my late teens. I even went to a Wiccan spiral dance (a ceremony for an old Pagan holiday). Interesting stuff to say the least.

We even have a former Satanic priest here on Sherdog who has claimed some pretty far out shit.

I am on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, so exposure to Wicca, Peganism, Witch Craft, everything new age, holistic healing, alternative "medicine" and treatment, and others is not even that fringe here. (I should say that some alternative meds and treatments are scientifically valid, so don't freak out y'all)
