Cowboy's fast and hard kicks (vid)

cool. now someone needs to post a video of sam-a throwing kicks! lol

That shit is always deceiving. I watched Cowboy fight Benson and others where he looks slow and plodding and not at all crisp and fast like he does in practice. I'm not saying I don't like Cerrone, the dude is a warrior, just that maybe practice videos don't always tell an accurate story.

You're not inaccurate. Plenty of people don't bring it all to the ring, but Cowboy is a badass. His repeated domination of world class fighters is all the evidence one needs.

Yea, like I said, Cerrone is a warrior but don't let practice videos fool you. They don't really mean much.

Some days you just aren't into it. It happens with everything. Go train and you'll understand.

Maybe you misunderstand me. How many times have you seen two fighters in practice before they fight each other and one of them looks sick as shit in practice and determined and then gets wrecked in the fight? Go back and watch Joe "Daddy" practice before he fought BJ Penn. I was absolutely convinced Joe Daddy was going to take that fight because he looked determined and quick and powerful in practice. He got wrecked. Watch Ronda practice striking, she looks pretty damn awesome, in a real fight she doesn't look like that. She's dominant, but her fight striking does not match her practice intensity and accuracy.

Ok great, Cerrone looks like he kicks hard as fuck and fast as hell. He doesn't look like that when he fights. Go watch his last fight with Benson Henderson and he looks slow and plodding.

I can't say that Ronda looks good in practice. Her shadowboxing technique is some of the weirdest stuff I've ever seen in martial arts.

Well, Cerrones kicks are actually his best weapons along with his knees. I get your point, but he has very good kicks, in fights as well. There are other samples than the Benson fight.

Yeah I understand. Sometimes when you spar or train you feel on fire and like you could tool anyone. And other days it just isn't coming together. I'd imagine an actual fight is just the same. When Donald looked slow and plodding I bet you anything he just wasn't that excited to be fighting that day. Ronda has looked sick in some fights, are you kidding me??? She absolutely demolished Alexis Davis and looked just like she does in practice.

As far as the Benson fight I'll bet you anything Cerrone didn't really want to fight Ben. Just did it for the money and it's hard to get fired up when you're just doing it for a check.

His had a broken foot in the Bendo fight. He took the fight because he said he thought it was going to be a wrasslin match. He had injured ribs against Makdessi. BUt, think about it. If any fighter went balls out throwing as hard as they could, they would be gassed in a few minutes. Plus, you dont want to end up like Andy and break your shit from a check.

Oh I get it, Cerrone is a tough S.O.B. I don't deny it. He also fights more frequently than anyone else. His durability is remarkable. I'm just saying lets not get too fired up about practice vids. We could post them of GSP in practice throwing MT kicks and looking like a savage too.

Kind of shocked still no Sam A answer.

Regardless, that was hard and fast with crisp technique. Not something you'd see in a fight, but still impressive as shit. Anyone who's ever trained knows how difficult it is to perfect that.

holy shit he looses so much weight to make 155 its insane.
