Since the fight was a dive (according to Sherdog) you have to admire Cowboys acting chops for pretending to be a concussed fighter who couldn't remember what happened.

Elbows were in the script but Conor went into business for himself.
 
I think the wind from that knee Conor threw and missed concussed him and those devastating shoulder bumps may have shattered his skull, the toe kiss definitely broke his jaw... Understandable he was laughing and joking around looking fine immediately after the fight.

The elbows was part of the script Dana typed up in his office before the fight.. Conor ad-libbed and went shoulder strikes instead.
