Anyone else love a good court room drama. 90s was filled with great ones like Rainmaker,Civil Action,Time to Kill,The Client, and such but what are some good ones that have beend made recently. I didnt really care for Lincoln Lawer, not sure why.

But what are some of yall Fav.

Gene Hackman in Class Action was awesome. The lady from Abyss was his daughter and they were fighting the pinto case. It gets ok reviews but I thought it was great movie. Father vs Daughter in court battle.

Does the people vs Larry Flynt count?

edit ^^^apparently it does.

On the streets of Philadelphia...

Na---na---na-na-na, na---na---na-na-na....

Inherit the Wind (with Spencer Tracy and Frederic March) and Anatomy of a Murder are among the very best yet rarely get mentioned.

Came in here to mention inherit the wind. Spencer Tracy's speech in that film is one of the great cinematic moments.

Surprised I didn't immediately see A Few Good Men.

Runaway Jury

The scene between Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman should at studdied by theater majors.

Though, legally, the jury's verdict is liberal pornography.

Hate to say it but its my least favorite genre. I'll stick with the subject. Probably The Verdict and 12 Angry Men, and To Kill a Mockingbird

One of my favorite genres, film or TV. There's lots of great ones, I'll try to mention some that might not come to mind or be as popular.

A Civil Action with John Travta

From The Hip is an 80's movie with Judd Nelson. If I remember correctly it was David E. Kelly's (of Picket Fences and The Practice fame) first script.

Presumed Innocent is obviously a big one.

Even though it isn't a courtroom drama per se, 12 Angry Men is a masterpiece with arguably the best script ever written imo.
