I was just thinking since UFC pretty much has said they will never welcome Sylvia back, Do you think he has potential in Bellator? would he win the Strap or a Tourney? I mean everyone on here says Bellator has the weakest HW division so how bout it?? thoughts?

Minakov, Volkov and Ivanov all mess him up, as does Kongo. Even Wiuff, Lavar and Martinez have good chances. Sylvia's hitting almost-Shamrockian lows.

He has a lot of pro fights and a big size advantage I think he would do pretty well

Maybe if he was in a four man tourmanet and he fought Eric Prindle and Ryan Martinez, he would probably win but I he would lose to Minakov, Volkov, Ivanov, and Lavar, and Kongo

He'd get destroyed, he can't even make the HW limit anymore. If you're into the whole mmamath thing abe wagner got annihilated in bellator. I'd like the signing if they also signed Konstantin Erokhin another big win for Erokhin and then just drop timmy after

He'd get beat by Volkov and Minakov.

If Kongo couldn't win, how can Sylvia?

I don't think so, which says a lot about where Tim's potential ceiling at this point in his career, bearing in mind of course the ruthless devastation that Kongo was subjected to by Minakov.

Even Prindle has a good chance against Sylvia nowadays (the amount of hate-ish that Prindle gets is really undeserved), not to mention Martinez. Hale's the only heavyweight in Bellator [that doesn't have a 2-3 record that they pulled out of Dogpoo, Mississippi, that is] that Sylvia would have a good chance against, and even then Hale might have enough savvy to pull off the upset.

Even in Sylvia's prime, the Bellator heavyweights would have a good chance. That's not to deter Sylvia in his prime, that's saying that the quality of Bellator's heavyweight division is much better and has much more to offer than people treat it. I have faith in Bellator's heavyweights.

Even Josh Appelt and Maurice Jackson could beat him.

I can't think of a single mainstay in the Bellator HW divison he'd beat. He had some OK wins post-Mercer but he'd get destroyed by Minakov, Volkov, Kongo, and the like. If they ever go to Maine I could see them signing Sylvia for a one off vs. one of their guys in need of a big win.

bellator actually has some very talented heavyweights ( and some not so talented). he could probably beat 50% of there heavyweight roster.

He's supposed to be in a 4 man tournament this summer - also w/ Wes Sims, Travis Fulton, & Jon Madsen.
