Could khabib take Aldo down?

i think aldo has displayed the best td defense ever in the ufc with that being said maybe. Unless aldo gasses i dont see him getting pushed against the fence khabs clinch trips. Would be an awesome fight either way.
 
Probably, Khabib takes down anyone physically weaker than him
That's why he couldn't takedown Tibau
 
I think he'd struggle mightily like with Tibau.

Ofc. Tibau has quite a bit of size but Aldo's speed and angles presents his own challenges to Khabib on top of his stellar TDD.

Also as far as the best TD artists that Aldo would have faced, Khabib's striking would be behind Frankie and Chad I believe. That affects how well the TDs can be set up.
 
Aldos TDD isnt far off Tibaus IMO but Gleison is alot bigger.

I think Khabib would get him down but i dont think hed do much with it and Jose would get back up and defend some.
 
Probably because hes alot bigger, khabib ragdolled rockhold in training.

That is a great point. It would be interesting to see if khabib could close the distance without getting blasted.
 
He would but he would blow out his ACL in the process and not fight again for a year
 
He could take him down but I see Aldo getting right back to his feet pretty quick.

Now Mendes would stop everything from Khabib.
 
It is possible. But he would have to be active at fighting, which he normally isn't lol
 
Tibau has no where near the reflexes Aldo has thats what makes his tdd so good.

I highly doubt khabib is slow compared to Aldo can take him down.
