- If it takes a day per time zone traveled through to get over jet lag, and
- Since Perth is 8 times zones away from California, (I think) and
- Rockhold got to Perth 5 days before the fight...

Could he have still been suffering from jet lag on fight day? Jet lag is a bitch.

Why didn't Luke's team take this into account?

Thoughts?

sounds plausible

If anything his weight cut was an issue.

If you saw the interview right after the weigh ins you would agree.

Uhmm, no, Rockhold has terrible boxing. He leaves his chin exposed and this has happened before. Bisping knocked him out cold in the same way, and he nearly lost to David Branch because of the same weakness.

Or maybe a lack of striking defence

yeah I think so as Yoel is use to fighting in that time zone.

A day per time zone? Thats ludicrous. Any professional shouldn't need more than a couple of days to right themselves, unless they are literally non stop work the whole time. Now was Rockhold still jet lagged? Possibly, but if he was it was his own fault. But hell I've seen children handle that kind of time difference in less than 8 days.

When he lost to Bisping in California, was the time zone also a problem?

Romero isn't used to Australian time either. Ridiculous excuse.

It's certainly not the reason he lost, but jet lag is a real thing. In my work I've taken many long ass flights, involving major time changes...it's a bitch, no doubt. Imo, 5 days out is not enough time to properly acclimate.

His lack of lateral movement is his undoing.

He plays the part really well, but dude actually has a ton of holes in his striking.

he lost his hair. he lost demi. now, he has lost his mind. shame

He should have sailed to Australia like Yoel did

Rockhold was in Philly celebrating the Eagles win. Hence he was tired. Rematch this shit Dana
