Could Cormier have affected Cain?

Simply put, lets say Cormier has a solid first round. He bullies nelson against the cage and scores a takedown. The second round comes around and Cormier gets tagged and Cain watches his good friend get flash ko'd by Nelson.

Do you think that would have affected the fight against JDS? I simply wonder because you had to know that Cain was watching Cormier fight and Daniel came out to corner Cain.

The question stands, if Nelson had ko'd Cormier, could it have hurt Cain mentally against JDS?

Nah. Cain is a relentless killer. Only another fluke shot behind his ear could have put him down. A shot like that would put any HW down...
