I see allot of arguments on social media saying that Conor isn't really that old and he fought most of his career at FW. How likely is it that he could make the cut for FW and beat Volkanovski or Max?

No chance he makes the cut now, he's far more muscular than he was at FW.

Do you like to go hungry?

I mean really. Since making Jose Aldo money he's fought 3 times at WW and twice at LW.

Would you put extra strain on yourself if you had 5 mil on stand by just fuck off money? Why would McGregor do a POW impression and risk his kidneys?

Honestly as fans we're lucky just to see Conor fight.

He might be able to cut down , but I don’t think it would be smart.. his body frame has changed.. I don’t think he would be the same.. but who knows I also thought aldo would be a zombie ( bad way ) at 135 .. I think these things really depends on the person and how well they handle the cut. If he chose to go down I don’t think he would ever get back up however that’s what killed Roy Jones jr constantly changing weights like that is bad

He hates cutting to 155, never mind 145

    Pow bully conor is gone

He has to fight men his own size these days, which explains his recent record being close to 50/50

He could but he's not going to. Going down would be a bad look.

Khabib has missed weight 2-3 times at 155, Conor has never missed weight at 145 or 155.
If we're talking about who fights men of his own size or not Khabib should be in there with Usman.

Conor couldn't just make the 'cut'. He would have to diet a ton then cut.
He probably could do it and he'd beat Volkanovski, 145 guys can't take his power.
He's too rich and 145 pays less so he won't put his body through that.

Not going to happen. As fighter age that big of a weight cut is harder and harder, especially if you really shouldn't of been there to begin with . Conor is 155er period.

If he could make the weight he could very easily become champion.

He would probably beat Max again. I think he would have a good chance against Volk. Volk has a hell of a chin... it would be a good fight.

But Conor isn't making 145 again. He is much bigger than he was back then.

Volk has the chin, strength and grappling to beat Conor. He's pretty good at making adjustments and his team is really good at game planning a way to beat guys. I'd favour Volk but he'd be made an underdog.

Conor doesn't need to make 145 now tho, he could fight at MW if he wanted

He's starting to look like he will be too big for 155 soon, I don't believe he could make 145 for any kind of money, and he doesn't need it anyway, so there is literally no reason for him to ever do it.

When was the last time Khabib missed, or even struggled to make weight? Give us a date.

And just LOL @ believing that Conor can still make FW. Kav was already saying that it’s impossible as they were getting ready to fight Nate. Totally bogus fanboy stuff at this point.

No chance does he beat Volk if he makes weight

He had more stamina in his youth

If he strained himself to make weight (I don't think he can now), he would resemble de la hoya in the manny fight

It's much harder to come back down in weight

RJJ came back to lhw, after winning the wba title from ruiz. That is when he had his fall from grace

In fact many top fw would likely beat Conor if he made the weight now. He would be sacrificing a lot of mass and he's older now, so recovery between training and the fight would be much more difficult

He was a fucking skeleton at 145 weigh ins

Fair play to him for making the weight and he isn't the only fighter to take advantage of the rules

However, he is NOT a fw and will never be again

The guy hates making LW now and will only likely do it for a title shot

Only way I see this even being a thought is if he got obliterated in a few fights back to back and became desperate for a cash grab after his mystique wore off and stock plummeted. I don't not see that happening, he could lose, rebound, or just keep winning, and make the same amount of money he does now without the pure hell of that weight cut (though that cut is closer to suicide those days)
