thanks for posting...
this was one of the better 24/7's I've seen.
Whatever happened to Cotto's fat friend? That guy who lost all that weight...
He got his stomach stapled. You can see him in the beginning talking about how Cotto and roach have bonded well.
Does anyone dislike Cotto?
If so, I hope you get a limb torn off by a rabid dog.
I don't think anyone dislikes him. He is a constant professional and maintains working on his craft.
Picking Sergio to win doesn't mean you dislike Cotto either.
Oh I know, I was just curious if anyone actually dislikes him.
Probably the most likable fighter I can think of.
Holy $hit...that was him!?!?!?!?
Are you guys for real? I like Cotto but there's no way is he the most likable fighter out there.

We are talking about a guy who spits his dummy out after every loss and refuses to even do post fight interviews. Walking out of the ring because you don't like the way you performed is completely disrespectful and a is clear a sign that that he can't take defeat like a man.
He was also a bit of a dick over the Margarito thing. It was embarrassing when he brought out his Ipad in the face off and tried to show evidence of illegal wraps. In reality, we just saw a piece of fluff attached to regular hand wraps. There's zero evidence that Margarito cheated in their fight, he didn't even cheat in the Mosley fight, he just used an old bandage.
Quitting against Tony and blaming it on the wraps was poor form. I excuse him for quitting, but many people don't, and let's face it, taking a knee and waving the fight off is hardly a likable trait in boxing.
Im a minority here but Ive never really cared for whether or not fighters do the post fight speeches.
As far as the Marg situation, not sure I would act any different than he did.
He's more than happy to stick around when he wins though. It's just when he loses that he suddenly can't be arsed to show a bit of class to his opponent and the broadcasters. It doesn't take much to give a quick interview, fighters have done it after crushing and humiliating defeats. Cotto couldn't even do it after getting outboxed by Mayweather.
Showing pictures of a piece of fluff on a handwrap is just embarrassing and it was a silly way to approach the rematch. I never liked the way he acted like he had been victim to to it.
