Costa Philippou would win the same way Wanderlei beat Cung. He's land a kick or punch that Cung didn't expect coming late in round 1 (possibly) break his nose, open up a nasty cut, etc. (as possibilities) and it would pretty much be downhill from there.

In a 3 round fight I'd pick Cung, presuming he was in decent cardio shape. Costa's a very similar fighter to Cote; very orthodox slow and predictable, and I'd imagine it would play out similarly.

If Tim had've pressured for it on the night I'd say it would've been possible.
I wouldn't call it cheating but that fight was hardly a fair win.
A NC would make more sense than a DQ obviously.

I'd take Cung on this one.
