Say they put this matchup together. Kinda makes sense being as they are both on winning streaks.

Who do you pick to win?

Cung via beating the shit outta him, Costa got dropped by a kick from Boetsch and was getting outstruck until he decided to cheat his way to a win.

How did he cheat? Eye gouges and headbutts happen on accident all the time.

Costa Philippou would win the same way Wanderlei beat Cung. He's land a kick or punch that Cung didn't expect coming late in round 1 (possibly) break his nose, open up a nasty cut, etc. (as possibilities) and it would pretty much be downhill from there.

He used illegal moves to his advantage, therefore he cheated. It's disturbing that there isn't a bigger outrage about this, fight should be overturned to a NC.

Definetly Cung. He would put Philippou through the wood chipper.

The same Cung that decapitated Franklin, a former defending UFC MW champion?

    Right.

In a 3 round fight I'd pick Cung, presuming he was in decent cardio shape. Costa's a very similar fighter to Cote; very orthodox slow and predictable, and I'd imagine it would play out similarly.

I've got to go with Cung. Costa will some striking he hasn't seen before and won't be able to deal with it.

If Tim had've pressured for it on the night I'd say it would've been possible.
I wouldn't call it cheating but that fight was hardly a fair win.
A NC would make more sense than a DQ obviously.

I'd take Cung on this one.

Costa's boxing is waaay better than Cote's though.
