Costa Philipou, most humble UFC fighter?

he just gained a lot of respect in my book. humility is a vastly under appreciated quality.

the countdown made me really like him a lot. He's got a fan in me, cool guy

I look forward to him fighting constantly (no pun intended). This boosts his character imo so now I'm definitely more of a fan.

Yeah, the countdown made me a bigger fan. I like how he said "I wasn't good enough for the TUF show" instead of the typical "I was sick, cracked skull, torn knee, broken arm".

Exactly right. I dig that. Admits he wasn't ready, decided to get better instead.

Ive always liked him too. He is so respectful of his opponents.

Awesome dude and a really damn good fighter. Go Long Island.

Soft spoken.

Pete Spratt was also offered a fight against Matt Hughes back in the day, but declined because he didn't feel he was ready for it. It takes a genuinely humble person to do that.

He's humble till you kick him in the nuts lol

he is awesome
good fighter, good dude
but anderson deserve not that much respect

The most improved fighter I can remember in a while too. He's a completely different fighter than he was back then... pretty crazy. Saw him fight twice already live and I've been a fan since.

The guy is winning me over, however, Boetsch fan first. So after this fight I can root for him, haha.

Costas is a stand-up dude....humble & honest....especially to himself, which is a problem many athletes struggle with....ego.

Max Holloway was like that as well when Helwani asked him about the Poirier fight
