I think if you are spending the $$$ to attend a World's camp, you should be warmly greeted and made to feel at home. Afterall, this isn't a standard class drop in, this is significantly more expensive, and many people will have presumably flown in to attend (incurring even more costs).
Having said that, I wouldnt be offended if it wasn't the most friendly environment either. If you are going to survive in BJJ and stick with it for many years, you should have developed a thicker skin already.
I think many people pay for a Worlds camp and have the wrong expectations. Yes, it is significantly more expensive than a standard drop in but, you are paying to train and use their facilities, have access to high level instruction (note I did not say coaching), and hard rolling with other talented competitors. You are not going there to be pampered and treated like royalty. You're paying for higher level and HARDER than standard training at your home school. Of course you should be warmly greeted when you get there, etc but how do they make you feel at home especially when they need to run a large class like toothless king said? They aren't going to go out fo their way for that. If you walk up and introduce yourself to them, I'm sure you'll be greeted back warmly and not cold shouldered in a rude manner.
