that's why judges and refs should be ufc's responsibility. they would be accountable for something and you could effectively complain to someone
This isn't a good idea. You don't want to beholden to a promoter directly. It's better when we work for and answer to an independent body. Working for a promoter directly means they can push you to be exclusive, favor certain fighters, all kinds of things.
The disadvantages FAR outweigh the advantages. Commissions need to be more involved in the oversight of officials, but the answer isn't to work directly for the promoter.
