Nah.. that is kind of a myth. If anything.. those guys took the money they got and went to more isolated places.
Luckly nazism and neo-nazism here is basically non existent these days.

Maybe their followers got into the US. Lots of them in their 20s to 50s.

Sounds like our Dear Leader is tweeting to incite protests in states struggling to get their fucktards to stay at home and the motive seems to be to have the democrat leadership there replaced. He apparently doesn't give a fuck if the coronavirus spreads further.

Promising news about Remdesivir?

Early peek at data on Gilead coronavirus drug suggests patients are responding to treatment
https://www.statnews.com/2020/04/16...uggests-patients-are-responding-to-treatment/

A Chicago hospital treating severe Covid-19 patients with Gilead Sciences’ antiviral medicine remdesivir in a closely watched clinical trial is seeing rapid recoveries in fever and respiratory symptoms, with nearly all patients discharged in less than a week, STAT has learned.

Remdesivir was one of the first medicines identified as having the potential to impact SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes Covid-19, in lab tests. The entire world has been waiting for results from Gilead’s clinical trials, and positive results would likely lead to fast approvals by the Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory agencies. If safe and effective, it could become the first approved treatment against the disease.

The University of Chicago Medicine recruited 125 people with Covid-19 into Gilead’s two Phase 3 clinical trials. Of those people, 113 had severe disease. All the patients have been treated with daily infusions of remdesivir.

“The best news is that most of our patients have already been discharged, which is great. We’ve only had two patients perish,” said Kathleen Mullane, the University of Chicago infectious disease specialist overseeing the remdesivir studies for the hospital.

I understand there are more tests to be done. Just want to share a bit of good news. "Maybe" we might actually survive this pandemic.

Yesterday, Italy had 525 new COVID-19 deaths
Today Italy confirms 575 new deaths, raising the country's total to 22,170 confirmed deaths

Going up isn't a good sign. I wonder if it's a more virulent strain in Italy and Spain.

Its more about that italians cant quarantine themselfs

Keep having social meetings etc

Thats what i hear from there

Sure this has been linked already but if anyone's interested in how WWIII starts this is a handy primer.

Man I could never live in a rural area like that, where you are in the middle of nowhere. Id go crazy. I have this thing where I can't be in quiet areas, or ill start having a panic attack, Its why I enjoy the city life or being around a lot of people. When I used to live in Downtown LA I loved coming home to my luxury loft and looking at the people below and hearing the cars and voices it was calming.

Last night I couldn't sleep it was so quiet and nobody was out, I had another panic attack.
I suffer from depression and anxiety, what triggers them is silence and being alone for long periods of time. this Quarantine is driving me crazy. I also worry about my parents and think Im being punished, I get some strange bouts of guilt during my depression where I feel Im the cause of problems and everything is my fault.

That's not good. I'm perfectly happy being by myself. There must be some mental health line you can call to talk to someone.

I'm all for good news. Gilead's stock went through the roof this morning.

It's not as if everyone has a futuristic sci-fi personal real time virus detector allowing people to determine if someone is a carrier, but wasn't infected and ended up infecting someone else.

If this did start in China, I'm sure nobody intentionally took it somewhere else. There is no way to know anything about new diseases until they are in the population. The Chinese doctors were able to determine the genetic makeup fairly soon and get the information out to the rest of the world before their government decided that information shouldn't get out. We still don't know how many people have had it and recovered or if recovering provides immunity and for how long if it does. We are still on the learning curve and I understand the concern. Nobody wants to be the one to open Pandora's Box. At least this seems to be less deadly to much of the population so far.

I've definitely confirmed the higher population density areas are the problem areas.

This explains why the UK and Italy's death rates are high.

NYC .1366% Dead (vs total population)
UK .021005% Dead
Italy .037682239% Dead
US .0097859% Dead

According to John Hopkins data.

Notice the pattern? Higher population density = Virus infects more quickly and causes more deaths. Pretty obvious, but it makes it hard to predict without knowing the population distribution of an area. Anyway, don't get caught up in R-naught or infected to dead ratios.

The scary thing is death from coronavirus could be relatively sudden within a few days and kill even relatively young and healthy gym-going people. People spreading it without symptoms is scary too and why people should use masks even if they don't think they're sick.

Yeah, I dont get it, yes this thing is scary and serious but some people seem to wake up every morning saying to themselves man I cant wait to read the death toll.

The rate of increase of the death toll is a way of tracking what is happening. The world wide death tolls don't provide as much information as the death tolls from certain areas. Italy and Spain are examples of how well the measures taken are working. Even those are somewhat misleading because I don't think the entire country was shut down at the same time so there can be pockets where the virus hit it's peak later.

Might be a "more polluted air" factor in there affecting lungs as well when it comes to higher population density areas.
