Cormier's mobility as the key to win

    Just read the article "Killing the King" (http://fightland.vice.com/blog/killing-the-king-jon-jones) and thought it was a pretty good breakdown of the technique needed to beat Jon.

    I want DC to win and I wonder if he has the lateral boxing and leg movement, and general mobility necessary (as Guss showed in the past) in order to get thru Jon's reach and get it to the ground where he should have a much better chance. What do you all think considering DC's prior fights?.

    DC connects on that kick and it's over 10 out of 10 times.

    yeah, just like in boxing, if you're short you better have mobility. No matter how big you and strong you are. If you're short you have to move around.

    Slack is the man, and he's right that lateral movement will help him avoid the oblique kicks.

    Scary move... :D

    But more than him moving to kick, I was thinking on if he is able to move like Gus did, if so, then Jones can be in trouble. I don't think there is a lot of evidence of that tho.
