Daniel Cormier beats Jon Jones and Jon suddenly loses his aura of invincibility. He will side by side with Fedor and GSP.
Opposed to popular opinion, I thought the first match was very close. Could have gone either way, if Daniel Cormier wasn't so emotional. I also believe Cormier is the only one who can beat Jon Jones currently.

Wasn't close, Jones easily won. A dude on Coke and doing lord knows what who wasn't close to focused on MMA beat DC who had trained his ass off and was the most focused he had ever been.

Cormier didnt have Cain as a trainer partner first time, just like he wont have him again for the rematch. Those are actual facts, unlike your ridiculous claims.

I agree 100%, he seemed to have some kind of adrenaline dump in the 3d, and also it looked like he had no clue how to deal with Jon's physical unique specificities ( leverages in the clinch, pushing and leaning against the fence to gas etc. )
I expect a much better DC this time, and I can only hope for a much better Jones too so we get a FOTY.
I also agree that DC is the only one who can beat him at LHW (other than a Rumble 1st round bolo punch) so if he fails...

I think the most overlooked part of the first fight is the bodywork that Jones used on DC. In general, Sherdog is still really bad at recognising the effectiveness of body shots. Jones was slamming kicks, knees and punches in to DC's mid section all fight long, which is largely why DC's energy dropped so bad.
DC himself said Jones hit him with something at some point which just sapped all his energy (DC wasn't sure what strike it was, or when, just that something hit his body and really, really hurt).
The first fight was close, and DC could win, but I still see Jones' reach and striking style as too much for DC to overcome. If DC could take Jones down at will, it'd be a different story, but Jones's TDD is absurdly good.
Jones by decision, IMO. Possibly even a late sub/GnP TKO.

Eh. It wasn't like a massacre, but Jones was never in any real danger of letting the fight slip away or anything.

Yeah. That's what I thought as well, Jones did just enough to win, and Cormier had a huge adrenaline dump. First round went to Jones easy, was way too elusive. But, by the end of the second round, I thought Comier was having the upper hand, as he started to manhandle Jones and land those short uppercuts on the inside. This is the first time I really thought someone could take it to Jones physically (Gus was just point fighting in their match). Start of the third round, Cormier gets a poke in the eye and everything goes down hill from there. 4th Round was more mentally demoralizing for Cormier than anything physical. Jones barely did anything with those takedowns (maybe intentionally just to prove a point??) . 5th round was Jones coasting and Cormier trying to save face, by getting a take down in return.
I believe, with a better mindset and game plan, Cormier can take it.

Being on Coke and partying > not having Cain to train with. DC could train with Jesus himself and isn't beating a motivated & focused Jones. Do you follow MMA? It's not exactly a secret all the shit Bones was into that could have wound up ending his MMA career.
The facts, as they are, DC should have mauled Bones. I mean at that point he had never been beat and hadn't even lost a round. Bones came off a Coke binge and still clearly beat him everywhere. He out fucking wrestled the supposed best wrestler in all of MMA.
