My feeling is that if Stipe is out (and it MIGHT be just a play to get more $$ from UFC, don't know) then Cormier will either retire or fight Jones at Heavyweight. I just *cannot* see Cormier going back to 205 for his last fight, so ......UFC may offer Jones and Cormier millions each to fight one more time at Heavyweight. Now that would be a gargantuan fight, but I'll give it only 25% chance of happening. Cormier ain't gonna wait.

Dunno, I would think DC NGANNOU would be huge, especially since jones beat Dc twice already. Everyone would want to see jones at HW against a new challenger. Especially against Ngannou.

DC didn't duck anybody. He is at the end of his career and only wants one more fight, why would it be Ngannou? He wants only Jones or Stipe for obvious reasons. Heck, he said he wanted to retire at 40, he should be gone by now. I am starting to think we will never see DC in the octagon again. I think last year DC openly said he wants no part on Ngannou. He laughed, but I think there's a level of truth to it. If he were a couple of years younger and the title path demanded they fight, I think he would sign the contract.
