He looked way too small in there with jones. He also carries alot of blubber still, even with the cut from heavy to 205.

I would like to see what he could do against wiman at 185. A cut he could and should make.

LMAO. No he will go back to HW where the competition is easier, and his road back to title contention the quickest.

He has a tough enough time losing the weight to reach 205. He looked very weary with the weight cut against Jones.

Do you suggest a former HW Cormier should move down to MW to fight LW Matt Wiman?

Gotta love the classic "Fighter should switch weight classes" threads immediately following a loss.

First of all can his frame support that?

Second of all yeah it's really easy for 35 year old that had or had kidney problems to do that.

Besides he would most likely have to take time off to do it safely, if he could do it at all. time is the enemy for him to remain competitive. moving farther down is not a good move

so you suggest he go back to heavyweight with the ultimate goal there to face his bff cain?....
    that will never happen -

he looked weiry because hes fat and doesnt eat properly. he still needs to cut but do it properly. hes only 5'10ish - very doable.

Yep, it always happens no matter how ridiculous the suggestion is. The threads after an elite fighter loses are extremely predictable. He was always overrated, he was exposed, he should move down in weight, etc., etc.

he will lose too much strength at 185.....he's paying the price at lhw. He should stay at hw and he would probably end up beating most guys because of his speed.

    I wouldn't know why, honestly.

To be clear, I'm not saying that he should move down, but let's face it: Cormier is 5'11 and even at 205 looks soft enough.

So when people suggest that he could move down (again), I don't think is as ridiculous as when they said it referring to JDS or others, just because they lost to Cain or whoever.

DC is about the same size as Rashad Evans, so I don't see why this is so out of the question. He carries a lot of fat at 205. He should take time off and focus on gradually cutting down to 185.

C'mon man, did you not see how fat Cormier was carrying for this fight? He would be a boss at welterweight.

So Cormier is about the same size as another guy who started at heavyweight, then fought the rest of his career as a light heavyweight, and this is proof to you that Cormier should fight at MW?

Not when Cain is around. They wont fight each other, and also Cain > Cormier. HW not a good option in terms of title contention though.
