Cormier is a better fight than Gus

If DC is such a dangerous opponent then Alex should have gotten to fight him instead of Manuwa.(

Actually Cormier was asked (by media) if he wanted to fight Gustafsson after Lil Nog pulled out of the fight and he said no. He didn't want to have to make his first cut to 205 over in Europe. Manuwa then replaced lil Nog.

Alex was also asked if he would like to fight Cormier and he said he would fight him anywhere. That was of course when he knew he had to fight one more time before a title shot.

jones has amazing wrestling and uses his reach to his fullest potential, making mew think the DC fight would be a way easier fight then the gus fight

Meanwhile DC is an olympic wrestler and has made his career smashing guys bigger and with far more reach than him. I mean he's fucking 5"10 or some shit and has had great success at HW, where most people think Jones wouldn't crack top 5 as he looks rather mediocre and his awful boxing is exposed when fighting someone of similar stature and weight.

Neither of these fights are easy ones. However DC looks easier on paper since he isn't some heavy handed KO artist0 (despite what he did to bigfoot who was coming off his greatest W against Fedor), he's a grinder.

Jones can fight whomever. Really I think he wants DC in the hopes that Gus will fight someone else and lose, knocking him off the rankings ali/frazier style. If Gus beats him setting up a Cain/JDS situation, and statistically for trilogies, the guy who wins the second fight will almost always win the 3rd.
