Hahahahahaha and you guys believed him!!!
Now can you people accept JJ is the GOAT?
I'm glad he had so many people fooled. Fooled in proportion to all the lacrimal glands being activated tonight.
Tooled DC every-fucking-where.
Okay. Maybe just take him down once.
LOL....100 times dude? LOL
Maybe he just wanted to take him down once.
Did he take him down once or twice? It seemed like he gave up on winning and just committed to that slam in the 5th, which Jones got up from immediately.
That slam would have been cool in the 1st or 2nd rounds but in the 5th it was just beyond pointless.
If by 100 he means like one half... maybe... then sure.
DC reminds me of JDS when he fully believed in his hands. He was fighting fighters who were good matches for him. Bigfoot might have been an exception due to the SF HWGP but he was just too slow.
MMA fighting against well rounded fighters is very different. But DC still did fairly well considering everything.
Moral victory baby, he slammed him!!!
Well he only decided to really take him down one time and he slammed him. So he's right. You the man DC.
He did slam Jones but it looked like Jones was in control and thought the getting back up required less power than preventing the slam.
ahhhh victory is so sweet.
Interested in seeing what dc says.
When Jones took him down twice in the 4th oh what must have been going through DC's mind..
Maybe he meant 1.00/100 or something.
To be fair I (and I'm sure most people) expected Cormier to get more than 1 takedown. I knew Jones had great TDD, but I didn't expect him to do as well in the wrestling department as he did...especially in the earlier rounds when Cormier was fresh
did you ask him after the fight if he decided to actually taking him down?
maybe he was just faking it and only decided it when he actually landed in the fight
be smart bro
Jones took DC down like 4 or 5 times, WOW! Olympic level wrestler got grinded on by a Junior College wrestler....
