Anyways, there was some sort of scary stuff in that PM, and besides, RJKD even noticed it, this guy overprices his shit and then makes up a bunch of bullshit to justify it.

I posted those in the original link. I sure as hell am not going to buy something I can make easily. Basically 15 or so for 3' of rope and 20-30 for the loading pin.

Sean I'm not sure if you're planning on splicing or using the hoseclamp method, but you're going to want a fair bit extra of rope, maybe a foot extra, foot and a half possibly...just to give you breathing room, since ropes that thick aren't very flexible and the loop at the end will be large.
