Cooking meat in water, not oil

wtf is wrong with canola oil?

It's very unstable, with a high polyunsaturated fatty acid content, and if it has not been damaged (oxidized) by the time it reaches your home, it almost certainly will be when you cook with it.
 
just rub a little oil on the meat, season with salt nad pepper, then place it in a hot, dry pan...nice, even carmelization
 
okay, don't hate me, but actually cooking a steak in sprite zero (again, in a pan) is delicious. don't ask me why... i don't even know how i found out. it is better than grilled. i am going to Texas hell for saying that, but it's true.
 
you can cook meat in water if you want, it doesnt matter, jesus christ lol thread over
