In the last 5 years Belfort has lost to Jones (SUB) and A. Silva (KO). In the last 5 years Bisping has lost to Sonnen (Dec), W. Silva (Dec), Henderson (KO), Evans (DEc). Bisping is the slight favorite going into the fight. I feel Vitor should be the fav. Convince me why Bisping wins.

Vitor has lost to Henderson just outside that timeframe aswell and hasnt fought any of the others.

I probabley favour Vitor but the big factor will always be how he holds up mentally, Bisping has a history of winning matches based on pressure so its easy to see how the two could go together.

My guess is either Vitor vs TKO in the 1st of Bisping by decision.

No point in trying to convince you, as you are obviously welded to Vitor's nuts!

Vitor will gas a Bisping will jab and run to a victory.

I would love to see Vitor win, Bisping has no top ten wins and i think the UFC gave him the easiest road to a title shot.

I think if Bisping can leg kick and Circle for 2 rounds he will have a huge advantage slowing Vitor down. But i think Vitor is very dangerous inside of 2 rounds. The third round could be where Bisping really turns up the take downs and aggressive wrestling to where he can do the most damage to Vitors cardio. The main thing for me though, Can Bisping really keep Belfort from clipping him for 2 full rounds? Bisping has shown to buckle when people come with bursting combos. Its going to be a battle of game plans.

Well now I've heard just about everything.

Staying on your bike the whole time and throwing non committal pitter pat punches does not make someone a better striker than Vitor Fu$%*ing Belfort. The dude got out struck by Matt Hamill. You have to be joking.

Argument for Bisping: Bisping jabs and does a lap all night long.

Argument against Bisping: The hopes of most people and Jesus, bro for a first round KO blitz. Oh, and Bisping's karma meter is full again.

Because Vitor is a frontrunner fighter. The moment things don't go his way during a fight, he folds like a cheap suit

Bisping has the cardio, boxing, wrestling, and reach to keep to the outside in the stand up, get a few take downs, and win a round 5 decision by using his cardio.

Or knocking Mike's chin off his face. Or gassing and losing a decision. Or ... Or ... OR!

Great way to start the new year! I can't decide who wins this one! A striker vs striker fight. And not just any strikers: vitor the phenom, with his long career vs the count, the brit boxer with jabs, crosses for days.

I have given up predictions of choosing a winner and just want to watch the fight:icon_chee

Bisping boxing is not that good. He lacks in head movement and combinations but uses Jabs and footwork very well though. Vitor has the head movement/footwork/power/combinations. The rest of your statement is good points.

Bisping is a better fighter than Vitor, and barring Vitor catching him and finishing him (which definitely could happen) Bisping will wear him down and possibly finish him.
