I have sifted through hundreds of articles, forums, and books chapters trying to combine information from thousands of different peoples' contradicting opinions and misinformation to make a personalized diet that will allow me to choose a desired weight, and body fat percentage, and maintain roughly that weight for months at a time...As most of you probably know, this is a mother fucking impossibly hopeless task, and at this point i'm admitting that it can't be done without help...this thread is a cry for help, and a last resort...have any of you gone through the same process?...do you know any websites/ books that contain tried/tested/ trusted material?...is this something i need to find out by myself through experience? (i'm thinkin yes but i still wanna hear others' eperiences)...oh one last thing...FUCK!!!

i guess i should elaborate a little more...i want to maintain the same weight while constanty gaining strength and muscle density...the more i read my own thread, the more i realize that this is probably something that is found through experience...something tells me i will need to buy a scale and monitor/adjust my diet every hour of every day

If you arent the first person to asked this question and you feel its a frequently asked question on a nutrition forum ask yourself where answers to your question might be.

I'm assuming your name is Mitch, so I'm gonna go ahead and call you Mitch.

Hi Mitch! I wrote something a while back that actually focussed almost exactly on your goals. I can't take much credit for it, since it's mostly just an amalgamation of Berardi's principals, with a few other things tacked on.

Absolutely. Buying an accurate scale is incredibly important. I love my Tanita, but there are probably many other great brands out there. Ignore the bodyfat scales, since they're not accurate enough to warrant the extra money at this point.
