More money in the private sector usually. Liberals are more driven by their beliefs than money in general. Not about being strong or weak. A liberal is cool just teaching rather than taking a risk and doing

Meh, driven by money and not wanting to affect real change or at least viewpoints, which lead to real change, while the "others" or liberals are out to do so sounds weak to me, selfish at best, and some what silly in either case when they don't make that choice but then bitch about the situation......

And if non-liberals are taking "risks" and doing, why are they still so behind? Are Americans so silly as to follow these people you present as "just teaching" over those doing?

If that were a math test you would have gotten in wrong. The left pursing an information monopoly (with which they spread false propaganda) does not equate to strength for them and weakness for their political opponents.

In order to get this point you are presenting, do you mean it does not make them stronger in that they are seeking the control or that they have this at least perceived control?

As someone pointed out in this thread, if they pursue control enough, and get it as some here are noting, even based on "false propaganda," what ever this means, will it not lead to increased power?

You remind me of Ben Shapiro, all these points you bring up every time, mathematically even, but as one tracked as idiot leftists are, you sound like you are used to discussing events in an echo chamber as well and a bit out of touch with whats really happening as well. Discussing Social Science as a Science will not lead to anything, especially power.

The victim mentality of geriatric conservatives on here is incredible.

I don't know what you're on about. My point was pretty simple. I don't think gaslighting America's youth makes you "strong." It's easy to manipulate children. It's harder to teach them critical thinking. So, I was saying the premise that the left winning the propaganda war makes them stronger (and the right weaker) is false.

^What a gaslight: Acknowledging and warning = "victimhood." You are the real victims sewing your parents to prevent them from kicking you out of their basement (even though you're in your 30's).

Exactly.

I would never want CNN and all the Fake MSM outlets to be censured. The people can see right through that shit. Even with Entertainment and Sports being monopolized by leftism it didn't bother me much. Even as MSN, Yahoo and every liberal outlet removes commentary so the lies have challenges I didn't flinch. Education is a different issue and that has always pissed me off. School is not a place for politics.

The scary part is the masters of the universe (Google/Facebook/Twitter) are destroying free speech and controlling narratives. This has only empowered and emboldened teachers and Entertainers who regurgitate the fake news talking points without objection or challenge.

The Democrat Party resembles the Nazi Party more so than any other political party in the world. It's scary.

Says the guy who literally wanted to kill the Twitter CEO for banning a scammer. I don't think there's anyone who is more anti-free-speech than you, bud.

I see what you mean now. Still, why aren't non-liberals pushing to teach critical thinking in schools? Why are they letting this gas lighting to occur? It still sounds weak to me. You're letting tons of young people grow up weak. Why not work to fix it? Why aren't you strong enough to win or even fight the propaganda war?

Can you even give me an example of this propaganda? If winning the war does not mean they are strong, why can't they be stopped?

As I said in another post, maybe its not about strength or weakness, but of laziness or an inability to communicate?

I think there is a simple reason for it. "Conservative" minded people have not persued jobs in education and media as much as "leftist" thinkers have (probably for decades), and that has allowed the left to accumulate an imbalance. I think conservatives have taken for granted just how potent those tools for influencing our youth can be, but now they are starting to open their eyes.

There are so many examples, but here is one:

Cliffs: There are school districts in America that are having parents sign a waiver not to review their children's homework and lessons because they don't want the parents to see the Marxist and anti-American concepts they are teaching to children.

https://news.yahoo.com/tennessee-parents-forced-sign-waiver-113531838.html

It's seems fundamental to me that parents not only have a right to review their children's homework and lessons, but they also have the final say in what philosophies their children should subscribe to.

Yeah, right. Socialist systems have far more tyrannical oligarchs than Capitalist ones. If you are being brainwashed to cannibalize your own country from the inside out, you have some issues.

I don't believe in "socialist systems". I believe in a government that isn't in the pocket of lobbyists and corporations. The "free market" is how you get there. I mean you literally have Twitter and Facebook deciding what you can and can't say online. Wake the fuck up.

I often don't like Glenn Beck, but this is a pretty good summation of how the left's domination of all forms of media, and our educational system, has fostered a culture that will overlook our Constitutional foundation to get what they want (or what they think they want). The leftist machine has its tentacles everywhere (including throughout our government). The dimwits who riot in the streets have been socialized to fight for their own enslavement, and they are completely oblivious to it. This is how easy it is to mold and manipulate the human mind. Trump is really the only thing standing in their way at the moment, but where does the future lead us post Trump?

I bet you're big on Facebook.

Why is it better to have a government oligarchy telling you what you can and can't say instead? Consolidating that power even more isn't a solution.

I hardly use it, but when I do I piss off as many drones as possible.

The government cannot censor your speech per the consitution. Corporations can and do. The power they currently wield is frightening. For example, the way MSM brainwashes the masses is a result of the deregulation of that sector.

I don't want the government controlling corporations. I want them setting limits on them.

Implementing "Socialism" is not going to limit the power of people who already have it. It's going to solidify their power. These big tech companies would not be helping the left if that were the case. Our civilization will deteriorate into something similar to China, where there are much stricter controls on our speech and our resources. "Socialist utopia" is always an empty promise.

Because I think Jack Dorsey is a treasonous parasitic disease for censuring speech he doesn't like, I'm anti free speech? You didn't think that through, did you...

^ I am sorry that you lack the cognition to know what is "bullshit" and what is true.

Updated the OP with this video since the old video was inexplicably removed from the internet. This does a good job of summing up the impact of media on youth:

But, that is certainly the goal, and a goal that is achievable. The left definitely has a monopoly on social media, and our elected officials have failed to address that monopoly.

^ This is all trash projection.

It's too bad we don't live in a capitalistic society that would allow right wingers to create their own social media platforms.

I know, right? Nevermind the monopolies that dominate the industry. Since our politicians (especially Democrats) are owned by big tech, we don't like to enforce our monopoly laws anymore.
