Contender Series Week 6 - Suspect Tats, 1 Armed Warriors, Teen Scarecrow Blood and Reebok Madness

I got the chance to watch this week’s show and was quite impressed by the card, exciting back and forth fights along with some nasty stoppages.

Jim Crute came out on top in a wild one with Chris Birchler, but his tattoos had me wondering if some cover up work had been done and what the smaller symbol represents...Just Bleed God approved finish either way.



Barely Legal and extra lanky Chase Hooper got outclassed early but showed Diaz’esque cardio and heart to go on to getting the decision. He was getting tooled in the first then rebounded, smothering and outclassing resilient but gassed Canaan Kawaihea in the 2nd and 3rd.



Sodiq Yusuff had a great night beating Mike Davis in a evenly matched war, this suspect colour description felt a little forced though by the marketing team...looks blue to me..Yanny? Laurel?



Nick Newell did well but Alex Munoz was too much for him to handle...got his beak busted and it messed with his breathing but still pressed the fight and had some nice guillotine attempts.



Anyone else enjoy and see potential future contenders?

Most of the fighters really go for the finish and it shows....

They also do a good job of finding good prospects and veterans and matching them up well.
Can't forgive them not signing Curtis though, especially after that kick...

I guess they went with Cyan because they probably described the dark blue shorts of other contenders as Blue? It's clearly a different shade than those...though it isn't cyan either, exactly. But people dealing with graphics are so familiar with the term — it's one of the shades in the four-color CMYK print process — that the guys doing the Chyron for the show might think it's a more widely understood word than it really is.

Saw a nice highlight where the one armed guy threw a punch and missed, he just spun around for the rest of the round. Kinda sad but also hilarious.

Sho nuff, I was suspicious that it was a covered up parteiadler, turns out dude is just a badass with a penchant for tactical shooter games...at least that’s what this thread has instructed.
