does any think he should have left? I think he would have a greater success if he'd stayed their for the training partner of Weidman and Iaiquinta. He's been on a tear besting Boetch, Mcgee, and Fikuta. whats all your thoughts on the move?

My first thought too. A lot of people have Weidman pegged to take the belt, Costa is a guy who may be a few fights away from a shot. Better to leave now than complicate shit down the road.

This seems like a really stupid idea, Serra-Longo seems like a great camp for Costa, great boxing trainers, BJJ trainers and Weidman as his training partner, he won't find a better training partner for what Costa needs, TDD and submission defense.

Serra-Longo seems like the best camp that isn't one of the big name camps.

yeah, they got him to where he is. it is one thing if he would have made it to the ufc and then got destroyed. someone else said he is training with the guys in LI that are with dennis bermudez.

if costa had fought jacare ( i think that was the fight), jacare would have beat him down. if he is worried about fighting weidman, then why not wait until july at least? i also don't think he has what it takes to be a no1 contender
