Consortium ... come back to the forum, please

Was it good porn at least?

you can quit as a good poster, or you can post long enough to see yourself become a tasteless porn viewer

Bat may have been a bit more special than he let on. He's a good guy. Probably the best champ we ever had.

At heavyweight at least

Bat himself would insist that Wlad was better than he was

Bat fell on his (meat) sword, such a waste, he had all the forums ahead of him.

Both bat and consortium are missed. Excellent posters even though bat could get retarded with his spiderman gifs at times.

Kilt got banned? Are we sure this isn't just one of his usual breaks?

anyhow, consort was a good poster. Bit of a know it all and had a clear anti-pac agenda, but a good poster. Hopefully he returns

Yeah, he got annoying there for a while.

Batklit being gone really sucks though.

whatever the dustup was about, i never even heard about it, i thought i kept better tabs on the forums than that.

and ya, plagiarism is a real problem, a big problem in media, always has been really. It's why when I hear that some superstar is accused by some loser that he's stolen his song, I don't necessarily doubt it. In fact, I think it's happened to me and some of my writing. Seattle has this popular Indian writer who I won't name, I met him when I gave him my album of music, then, he wanted poetry, writing, I sent it all to him. Next thing you know, he's got stories and themes with the same ideas, and even went so far as to write a poem with the same title as my album. Nothing I can do about it and I'd just get called names if I tried to. I did tell him to quit asking me for shit though. It's a funny thing, in writing and music, everyone steals, like Chuck Berry said once "there's nothing new under the sun". Elvis took his first songs from blues and country artists, but the key was, he added a lot to them too which made them his. So, you could go, "those poor blues guys died broke and Elvis was 'the king'" but really, to be fair, Elvis at least made a lot of run of the mill music outstanding just with his interpretation. As for me, sometimes I'll get a melody stuck in my head and I'll think 'this isn't mine, this is from someone else" so I think about it until i remember the original and if it's too close I wouldn't use it but if it's different enough, hell ya, it's fair game. everyone does it, part of being humans/monkeys we learn through imitation and sometimes we even surpass what we imitate leading to that thing called progress.

Blues had been done and done again many times before Elvis got his hands on it. People are still playing the same 3 chord progressions and calling themselves songwriters today.
