MMAth world rankings.

1. Chad Mendes
2. Max Holloway
3. Dennis Siver
4. Diego Brandao
5. Dustin Poirier
6. Marcus Brimage
7. Jose Aldo

I could see the argument of Holloway being a harder fight because it went the distance, but I think there were some mitigating circumstances there with the torn ACL. Mendes fight was much tougher imo, plus he was put in some real danger.

He dominated Holloway the entire fight. Mendes at least got a couple useless take downs and the one cut. I agree with your order except Poirier is above Brandao.

You're right. I was thinking the Brandao fight lasted longer than it did. I'll swap'em.

Edit: I take that back. It did last as long as I thought it did. Rankings staying.

Crazy to think Halloway is the only guy to make it the distance. Connor's a freak. Dude had a blown out ACL in that fight right?

Poirier landed a couple nice shots, knocked his tooth out if I recall. Brandao pretty much felt the pressure and folded. Mentally not very strong. Still he had more fight IQ than Aldo who seems was never really challenged mentally in 10 years.

Brandao folded under the pressure but I can't put a man who lasted four minutes inside the octagon below a man that barely lasted a minute. My heart won't allow it.

I did, however, swap Brimage and Dustin. So pat yourself on the back you got him a nice little rank-up.

Holloway turned Conor into a Panic wrestler, then once conor got it to the ground he hurt his own knee trying to pass guard.

Correction, he turned into a panic wrestler after his ACL was blown, not before. You got the events right but the order all wrong.

Correction, he tore his knee on the mat. How did the fight get to the mat? he took Max Down first.

He didn't take him down because he was losing on the feet, he took him down because he caught a kick from Holloway and punched him in the face and Holloway fell down. Following a guy to the mat because you successfully countered a strike and knocked him down is pretty much the polar opposite of panic wrestling.

Your timeline out of whack homie.

You're really splitting hairs for 3-7. None of those guys did anything significant to Conor. I think Poirier might have hit him a time or two, so that might be #3?

Lol I like conor, but according to his own words—he turned into a panic wrestler in that fight.

How? Panic wrestler means you try to take someone down out of desperation after getting dominated on the feet.

Conor had his way with Holloway standing.

well conor actually got max down by punching him on the face while holding his leg

If you are talking about how much effort he expended in each fight then I think your order is about right. Crazy to think that Aldo was (according to that criteria) his easiest fight. I suppose you could modify things by taking into account the enormous energy he put into the world tour and other media which I think really hurt Aldo mentally, but if it's just bell to bell then you have it right.

Useless takedowns that Conor had no answer for, offered nothing from his back and had to ask Herb Dean for a free standup. Conor also ate a lot of flush counter shots from Mini Mendes on the feet. Me thinks you never watched the fight. If you have, you watched it with Conor's balls resting on your chin. Kinda hard to see with all that in your face. That fight told me a whole lot about Conor McGregor, win, lose or draw.

Conor injured his knee during the fight. He didn't enter into that fight with a knee injury. Still a tough mofo to go the distance with it.
