I don't think you could write up a better storyline for a fighter in a Van Damme movie. I think these fights could all be possible granted he wins each step. Dude could retire as a legend after.

If conor wins the LW belt im really starting to doubt he will go down to 145lbs to defend the belt, more likely one huge Red Panty Night for everyone involved in him fighting Lawler for a 3rd belt, win or loose, he then goes back to LW, not all the way down to 145, but he would not have to vacate until that point.

The Mendes fight showed us a couple of things in that regard. Conor doesn't defend takedowns well, but he manages to protect himself decently on the ground and scrambles well.,
