Conor's greatest strength that Dana does not want you to know about just yet...

Aldo has defended his belt for nearly 10 years. He is a beast.

McGregor has fought a bunch of stepping stones, bar DP, and he has talent.

But he won't beat Aldo.

As for this business that Aldo cant fight a southpaw, has no inside leg kick option, won't manage Conors hand speed...come off it! Take a look at line 1, and read back down. :)

I feel for the Irish. Someone actually said they were great because of Sinead O Connor.

Still smarting i see.

Kenny was a sub specialist with mediocre striking and Aldo still couldn't finish him. Aldo overused the inside legkick with KZ and broke his foot.

If Aldo overuses the inside leg kick against Conor he will open himself up to Conor's most lethal weapon and receive vicious str8 lefts down his throat.

If Mendes put Aldo on his arse with rudimental wrestler/boxing, imagine what Conor's speed & devastating accuracy will do to him.

Next

I don't know why you are disagreeing with me. Didn't I say that Aldo won't know what to do with a southpaw in regards to throwing leg kicks?

Aldo will struggle with this Southpaw(Conor). Not every southpaw. Aldo is no scrub, Conor is just a bad match-up for him.

Really? Can't tell you how many times I've read this same thing verbatim from other posters against guys that were bad match ups for Aldo, yet he still owns that strap. And will still own it long after the Conor parade as ended.

Not from me you haven't. Aldo has my complete & utter respect.

The only reason Siver was able to chop down Conor's lead leg twice is because he's a kick boxing expert with a (*Joe Rogan voice*) VERY DANGEROUS and HIGHLY underrated standup game.

Aldo won't be able to do what Siver did, because Aldo is fighting a southpaw...

Conor's secret weapon is his Muay Thai:

Aldo will learn the hard way that his wide Karate stance and flashy kicks won't work against high level Muay Thai fighter like Conor and his leg checks...

Oh, more witty insight from alexandergreat3

Some of you mofos are on crack lol.

But bro, McGregor checked a kick against an amateur in the past! Aldo better not throw leg kicks or else it's gonna snap!

:icon_lol::icon_lol:

I wonder if 4 months will be enough time for Conor to ingrain leg checking into his muscle memory.

Inside leg kick?

Not good with McGregors stance. While using a boxing/Karate stance ( with the feet more or less paralel )makes its harder to check outside leg kicks it actually makes it easier to check inside leg kicks.

However Aldo can throw outside leg kicks with his lead left leg just fine ( watch his fight vs KenFlo ).

Aldo's got the striking to hang with anyone standing. Anyone.

Anyone can do this... look

Oh my god, Jose is sooooo succespatable to a staright punch and McGregor has longer arms it's gonna happen I can predict the future....

Why can't you just admit this is a great fight between two of the most entertaining fighters in the UFC.

Also Fedor was never that great and go knocked out by a MW.

Conor bless.

Great Post.

I still think Aldo beats McGOAT though.

Given Conor's tendency to keep his hands low and eat clean counter punches from guys who aren't exactly great boxers, I seriously don't see Conor getting out of the second round. People talk about Conor's boxing, but Aldo has fought good boxers with sharp counters before, Conor hasn't.
