Kenny here,
My mom's friend who is a successful business man is over right now waiting for my mom to come home. We are waiting for her so we can eat dinner.
He follows UFC and I asked him a lot of questions about what is going on right now and I thought to share it just in case people on Sherdog are interested.
He said that Conor will not go to jail and that he will most likely stay a few hours to 24 hours at the most in a holding cell. Most likely alone, but even if it is with other people, he said that the holding cells are usually light-hearted and everyone is laughing and joking before they get "processed."
He also said that this will become benefical for his image because he will be known as kind of a thug and that we will get more followers (fans AND haters). Normal people do not know what really happens and sees jail time all the same but he said it is very different. He said he isn't going to serve any prison time like the murders or whatever. He called it "Disneyland." I told him that he is full of it but I trust him in a way because he knows everything.
I work part time at the LA traffic courthouse and I know that they issue warrants for people that hasn't paid they're tickets so "warrant out for arrest" shouldn't be taken too seriosuly.
He said that the UFC will figure out a way to spin this in their favor and the next PPV with Conor will be the most massive one to date with PPV sales closing in on 3 million.
After looking at the video together, he said that Conor seemed aware of what he was doing and tried to cause the least amount of damage while looking the craziest. He also said that he doesn't think he meant to hurt anyone.
Most likely he will pay off the people he hurt, but he will make all his money back in his next fight many times over. He also thinks that UFC might help with his settlements.
We are going to be here for another hour or so, so if you guys have any questions, let m eknow I will askhim.
