He's all about that "nothing to lose, everthing to gain" life right now. He wanted RDA, and if he'd won, he'd become a legend, if he lost, 'well hey he fought a bigger dude'. He got Diaz instead, lost, but 'hey he fought a taller, bigger dude'. Now he's going after Mayweather. If he wins, he'll become a legend, if he loses, 'well hey he's the best boxer in the world atm and Conor's not even a boxer, so what do you expect.'
It seems Conor wants to do everything BUT defend his belt, because then he'd have something to lose. I can't fault him for that. I can only fault the idiots who keep giving him these opportunities ie Dana ie Mayweather.
