but agree with what the others are saying - his problems have more to do with confidence now than anything else. he was a dangerous guy when he believed he was invincible and that he could flatline anyone, but those days are gone. with some guys the confidence is almost everything and he's one of those guys.

I mean in the eyes of Conor nuthuggers he is invincible and never loses, so any loss will be explained away as some sort of fluke, degradation of skills due to lack of motivation, partying, injuries, etc.

Conor has looked just as good as he ever has in all of his fights, the only thing that has changed has been competition and his skills and cardio don't seem to have improved at all over the years.

Changed his fighting style, and his ego was just continuously inflating after the Also win, got some money and no longer had that championship drive/hunger. The leg injury is the least of it (and to be fair Anderson and Weidman were on the tail end of their careers when those injuries happened).
