As a Conor hater, this thread is embarrassing.

TS makes Conor-haters look as out of touch as Conor-nuthuggers.

We need Conor Covington, CC will make it right........

More Cardio
More Wrestling
More Fake Shit Talk

Throw in some paid for Porn stars on top of the Irish Skanks....

And we have a man ready to take the fight to Khabib........

Beats Holloway - was 21 years old and was a fucking white belt with no wrestling experience
Beats Brandao - midget
Beats Porier - i admit this is a good win
Beats Siver - midget
Beats Creamy Mendes - got ragdolled by a 5,4 midget and only lost because chad gassed out
Beats Aldo the 10 yr undefeated FW goat - fluke win
Beats Nate at WW by 5 ROUND DECISION after an embarrassing loss - arguably he didn't even win that fight, couldnt even finish nate
Beats LW champ Alverez - eddie only shot for one takedown that entire fight, probably threw the fight to help promote conor even more

there are excuses for this guys entire career because they set it all up for him to win.

same thing they are doing with israel, beat 44 year old ranked 16 silva and is now getting a fucking title shot.

Great post!

Always fucking excuses. You could do that shit with every top fighters.

Khabib.
*Pretty much lost to Tibau.
*His best win was against RDA 5 years ago.
*Fought Horcher 3 fights before his title fight.
*Subbed MJ who always gets subbed.
*Fought Barboza who can't fight off the backfoot and has no bottom game.
*Won the title off a short notice fight against a guy who wasn't even in the top 5.
*Defended his title vs a guy coming off a 2 year layoff who has shit cardio and is known to not have a stellar ground game.

You can disparage any career by doing that shit. The point Conor never pulled out, never missed weight, fought short notice, and cleaned out the top FWs then took the belt in spectacular fashion.

Again, his only losses are against a really good bjj black belt and the best grappler in the UFC. Keep hating my friend.

Even as a Connor hater still going to have to Hespect the skills he brought during his run. Had a sizzling left hand, light on his feet, and good foot work. Also, he knew how to fight tall and big as he was smashing midgets.

But the holes were there. Questionable cardio, weak grappling skills, poor boxing defense. Got exposed and he didn't evolve.

Excelent post. Ill disagree with boxing defense , he used his understating of distance very well

And mma footwork

He doesn't have the best cardio no question about that lol

He devolved after the Mayweather fight went more traditional and looked slow could be the 2 year lay off and the obvious non motivated hungry fighter

You think he had good Boxing Defense? Thinking back, I will say he had some good head moment during the Alvarez fight. Used a good mix of getting off the line and pulling/slipping.

But during both Nate fights, and even during Mendes fight he was taking some clean shots. But he did have a solid chin on him.

You don't make it to 21-4 with belts in two weight classes (and wins in three) without being at least somewhat great. Conor is obviously way above average. His ground work is underrated, too.

The problem is that haters decided a long time ago that he wasn't that good, so they've long conditioned themselves to see only the worst side of him. Anytime he loses, that's the measurement of his true talents to them, but anytime he wins, it's always because of some other variable (good style matchup, fluke punch, he got lucky the first time and refused to grant them a rematch, etc.)

For the most part it was very good , we all get hit even Mayweather

Also i don't think Conor respected their power

He KO'd the FW GOAT and one of the LW GOATs to become the first ever simultaneous UFC champion.

<{silvanormal}>

Eddie did shoot for takedowns and Conor easilly stuffed them. The fuck are you taking about?

Conor is good but he was never that good. There are lightweights in bellator who would take him down and smash him. Conor was never that good, he is one dimensional and not well rounded very much at all. All he can do is use his boxing skills range distance speed, accuracy, but he has no ground game.

Somebody with no ground game doesn't get very far, I do believe eddie threw that fight with Conor because the eddie we know would of shot for a takedown. He would of used his wrestling if he really wanted to win.

He could barely even beat nate diaz, that just shows how Conor barely belongs in the top 10. That decision arguably could of went to him but it didn't because the judges love Conor. Conor's style only works back in the day when nobody knew how to counter it. These days anybody can beat Conor.

I don't disagree, carry on... <mma4>

Dana fast-tracked his career, let him pick his opponents, and gave him immediate title shots anytime he asked for it. Has zero title defenses.

Look at Conor now. Hooked on drugs, has rape charges against him, thinks he’s tough because he smashes some guy’s phone and throws a dolly while looking like a dork, became a keyboard warrior on Twitter and gets so scared he deletes his tweets, etc.

The guy’s a joke. This is what Dana wanted for the UFC? No wonder UFC is dying.

Yeah he didn't beat Diaz the 2nd time. If that round would have been 30 seconds longer Conor would have been choked out again. He was DONE and already quit at that point.

He had his hand rasied, but he did not win that fight.

Everybody knows that

Even as fw he was protected from manlet wrestlers

It was like they were never gonna address the issue, when were they gonna bring it up..? "OK Conor you're champ now we can't walk you around grapplers/wrestlers anymore"...

I think he's a bit overrated. He had a massive reach advantage against pretty much everyone at FW and also against Alvarez at LW. His best win besides Aldo at FW was Mendes who had NO camp and it showed. I think Mendes could've very well beaten him there if he had a full camp. And also the Diaz II "win" was not impressive; McGregor ran for more time in that fight than basically any fighter in any fight I can remember, ever. That fight also ended with McGregor getting pummeled.

He's not a bad fighter, overrated because of his big mouth though IMO.

Khabib fans talking about one dimensional fighters <BC1>
