I just hope he comes in like he did against Holloway, not throwing wild shots.

In the fight vs. Holloway his cardio was great, he didn't even look tired after 3 rounds.

Accurate kicks and punches, good cardio, and his hands up.

How the hell are you going to block a punches/slaps with your hands in your pocket?
In the first round he dodged a few good punches but head movement is not enough.

I'm sure he will enter the octagon in a shape to go more then 5 rounds.

And I don't think the ground game of nate will be his downfall in the rematch. in the first round he had no problems on the mat although it only was for a short time.

Huge Conor fan and Diaz fan but he just fought a dumb fight.

Conor will take this fight very serious and will win this fight, decision or TKO.

Blame me if im wrong after the rematch.

I'm gonna blame you right now instead.

lol'ed at TKO btw.

you better hear that gazelle roar!

Keep sipping that kool aid, boy.

He could very well win the pointless, idiotic, belt-defense-avoiding, meaningless, payday money rematch.
Hard for me to care but I wouldn't mind seeing him get crushed

I also didn't think Conor took Diaz seriously enough and it was probably due to the last second opponent switch which caused him to think he was going to knock Diaz out early and didn't really pace himself the way he normally would. You could see this same thing in the Mendes fight. No respect or fear of what Mendes was going to do. Take down or not Conor believed at some point he would knock him out and he did.

If he respects Diaz' hands more than the last fight I don't see him taking unnecessary 1-2's clean on his chin with his hands down and definitely not looking for the quick KO but letting the shots come to him.

We know he can strike with Nate. We know he can win the exchanges. Nate won't be looking to take it to the ground but stand and bang so all Conor has to do is pick his shots wisely and not take unnecessary punishment trying to look for a quick KO.

Before the first fight the general consensus was that this was a favorable matchup for Conor. I don't think the last fight has changed my mind on that but a lot of Sherdog are prisoners of the moment so of course Conor doesn't have a chance in hell to win the rematch. We will see at 200.

There's some truth to that. I think I'll put some money on Conor if Diaz is the favorite. The way he kept going for that left uppercut reeked of arrogance.

At the same time tho, the Diaz brothers have evolved. Conor kept going for those linear kicks and Nate did a really good job avoiding them. Even Nick against Anderson showed pretty decent defense against Anderson's leg kicks.

He could win but he has to do the same thing again come out swinging and hoping for a KO. I don't see any other way he can win.

Or do you honestly believe Conor will outpoint Nate for 5 rounds without having the wrestling or leg kicking skills needed?

I dunno. Diaz started pouring it on and Conor looked like he couldn't deal with Nate's pressure.

I do agree that he was far more aggressive, it seemed a bit uncharacteristic if you look at his other ufc fights.

Diaz has a great chin despite the Thompson fight and in a 5 round fight (are they main or co main) i could see Diaz pulling off another win.

It'll be interesting to see if any of his delusional fanbase pop up right before the fight

Conor certainly didn't fight "smart" the first time around, but this is mostly hind sight, and I struggle to see an obvious strategy for McGregor to use.
If he can't beat Diaz with his power, then I think McGregor is in trouble.
There are a lot of ways to exploit Diaz's game, but non of those are Conor'sstrengths.

Bet your account on this then?????? Nevermind, you'll just end up like that dolt Jin and take back what you said anyhow.

You mean he was fighting the way he normally fights. How insightful of you TS. I love Conor and all but why cant people just admit it wasnt Conors night? Its not a slight on Conor that he lost to a very good fighter.

Just rewatched the first fight without sound....... Stockon slap is heard even if the sound is off...... amazing stuff

As a fan of McGregor, I shall be putting money on Nate. Again.

Will be a highly entertaining fight whatever happens.

I agree for the most part, don't know if he'll win but I'm not just gonna write him off like the fake Nate fans.

not going to blame you, but i may flame you for being so very brainwashed by zuffa propaganda.

in his fight against holloway, he wasn't pushed. He also was clearly a lot less muscular, but let's not mention McGregor's huge amount of muscle gain in a short period of time. he's just obsessed.

It's easy to go 3 rounds at your own pace. The DEATH TOUCH hype wasn't around him and Holloway was a much lesser challenge than Diaz. Diaz forced Conor to work, Holloway didn't.

a full camp Diaz is faster and "crisper" with his punches. look at the Johnson fight if that version of Nate comes in and starts to jab early it's all over from there. but if Conor can get his leg kicks in and hit the body for 2-3 rounds he can get a stoppage if not his only hope is going the distance and getting a decision. they will give it to Conor no matter how the fight went.
