Sherdog ranks him number 3 behind Khabib and Tony. He is the most legitimate contender if Tony is afraid and Khabib is suspended. Do your homework.

Khabib turned down the Jose Aldo fight and has pulled out of 3 fights with Tony Ferguson.

Tony has already been interim champ and it got him nowhere. He wants a guaranteed fight with either Khabib or Conor like he's wanted for years.

Tony wants Khabib or Conor next. He doesn't want to fight Holloway for a meaningless belt be realistic.

Khabib accepted fights with Tony 4 times and 4 other people when Tony pulled out including Max . Khabib was hospitalized for weight cuts twice, Tony pulled out twice (once because he tapped to a cable wire.)

Then the UFC should bench him like they did Colby. Fighters don’t get to pick their fights and they certainty don’t get rewarded for not fighting.

Why bench Tony? Khabib is the one holding up the division by waiting until the end of 2019 to fight again and was focused on a GSP fight that would of most likely been a catchweight fight, so it would of had nothing to do with the current division.

It should be Khabib vs Tony for the lw championship in April.

Khabib is the one you should be upset with from your narrative.

Funny , both Tony and Dustin lost to MJ. I wonder how Khabib would do....oh wait !

If you don't think 11 wins in a row merits an undisputed title shot, you literally think the belts (ANY of them) mean nothing.

When did he get offered Jose Aldo? This fight would make no sense after Conor KO'd Aldo. Before that Khabib wasn't known enough to be offered a fight against Jose Aldo, especially when Conor was the number one contender. Why would Jose fight Khabib at 155 when he's the 145 pound champ?

If it's after the KO Aldo lost twice to Max while Khabib was starting to get known after beating MJ, Barboza and Iaquinta. An Aldo fight would make no sense for him.

The timeline never aligns for why these two would even be considered to fight each other.

No undisputed fight available in April. Tony fights whoever the UFC wants and the same goes for everyone else or everyone should be stripped.

Why does it have to be April? Who said that? Make whatever LW fights you want with Al, Dustin, Conor, Max for now and then Khabib/Tony in the fall for the actual title. Instead they invent this bullshit and we don't see the 2 best LW's fight each other.

If you want to be a casual and not want the titles to mean anything that's fine. I'm not saying you can't feel that way. Just be honest about it.

I want to see Khabib vs Tony before any other matchup as well, but I'm afraid we won't ever get Khabib/Tony. He might want the Holloway fight when he wants to return.
